About Dr. Vitalij Smadyuk

My name is Vitalij Smadyuk. I was born in 1987 in Ukraine. Close members of my family were dentists, and it was their professional attitude, sense of responsibility, and deep respect for patients that inspired me to choose a career in dentistry. From the very beginning, my goal was not only to treat teeth, but to help people feel more confident and comfortable in their everyday lives.

I graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry in Ivano-Frankivsk and later decided to continue developing my professional career in the Czech Republic.

Education and Career in the Czech Republic

After completing my studies, I went through the diploma recognition process in the Czech Republic and successfully passed all required examinations in 2011 on my first attempt. Preparing for these exams allowed me to systematize my knowledge and gain a deeper understanding of clinical practice.

In the early years of my career, I worked under the supervision of a reviewing dentist of the Czech Dental Chamber. This period was formative from a professional perspective and laid the foundation for clinical thinking and full responsibility for every medical decision.

I later continued my work at a higher-level polyclinic, where I gained experience with a wide range of clinical cases. During this time, my deeper involvement in implantology began, including intensive study of professional literature and hands-on training as a prosthetic dentist following implant placement.

The Path to My Own Practice

In 2015, I started my independent practice by renting a dental office one day per week. This step allowed me to better understand how private practice operates and to develop individualized treatment protocols.

Since 2016, I have been working full-time in my own dental practice in Prague 7, where I practiced as a general dentist. Over time, the main focus of my work gradually shifted toward prosthetics and implantology.

Clinic and Team Development

As my practice grew, a professional team formed around me. In 2021, we made the decision to open a dental clinic in Prague 3. Our development was gradual, with a strong emphasis on treatment quality and an individualized approach to every patient.

One of the key milestones was the introduction of digital scanning, which allowed us to move away from traditional impressions and significantly improve the precision of prosthetic work. During the same period, I completed a professional internship in Canada, which greatly expanded my surgical experience.

Specializations and Modern Approaches

Today, my primary specialization is implantology, including complex clinical cases and the All-on-X method. In my work, I apply advanced surgical techniques, including the use of zygomatic implants.

Together with my team, we have developed our own clinical and prosthetic protocols based on full digital integration of all treatment stages. In selected cases, this approach allows complete oral rehabilitation to be performed within a single day.

We also accept clinical cases that were previously declined by other clinics and offer patients an alternative to removable dentures, significantly improving their quality of life.

I firmly believe that high-quality treatment begins with trust. It is essential to me that every patient feels calm and confident at every stage of treatment – from the initial consultation to the final result.

As the lead physician, I strive to pass these values on to the entire team and to create a comfortable environment for both patients and staff. Continuous professional development and education are an integral part of my work.
